Writer - Koushik Mondal
Alok is very happy that today he will get answers to all his questions. He will see ghosts and know ghosts. Even in reality there are ghosts or not! will know He will also know if there are really ghosts along the river? Ghosts do not only live by the river or anywhere else? Where else is there anywhere? Do ghosts really eat people? Alok has heard for a long time that ghosts eat people. How do ghosts live? Many such questions arose in Alok's mind. Alok will answer all questions today.
In the morning, the light is just looking at the clock again and again, when is the evening! In the morning, Alok is trying to finish all his work, but can't do anything. He is not interested in any work. It is as if the mind is lying in the old temple by the river. And how the light is getting lost in all the questions. Morning slowly approaches noon. And after noon, afternoon and then evening. Alok's mind is no longer stable and becomes restless. After that, afternoon slowly approaches afternoon. Just wait a moment. Meanwhile Ravi comes to Alok's house,
Ravi :- "Alok, this Alok, are you at home??"
Alok's mother opens the door and says,
Alok's mother: "Hey Ravi, come, come, come inside."
Ravi :- "Kakima Alok?"
Alok's mother: "Yes, Alok is in the house."
Meanwhile, Alok heard Ravi's voice and came down.
Alok :- "Hey Ravi, come on."
After that, Alok took Ravi to his room. Meanwhile, Alok's mother goes to bring snacks for Ravi. The two started talking in Alok's room. Meanwhile Ravi says,
Ravi: "Are you ready to go?"
Alok's mother is standing in front of the door with snacks and listens to Ravi.
Alok's mother: "Where are you going? Where were you getting ready to go?"
Alok did not tell his mother about going to the old temple. Don't want to say because if he says that he will go to the river in the evening to look for ghosts in the old temple then his mother will not let him go. So the light hides everything. This time when Alok's mother hears about being ready, Alok tries to hide it and tells a lie,
Alok :- "Where else will I go? I won't go anywhere like that. I'm going to buy a school bag for Robir's younger brother, so I'll go with him to the nearby village market."
Hearing this, Alok's mother said,
Alok's mother :- "Oh! If I go for this mass in the evening, it will be too late to come, there is no need to go today, I will go tomorrow morning, I will buy it tomorrow morning."
Alokto fell into crisis. Alok thought to himself, "If Alok doesn't go today, I may never find the answer to my question. And besides, I don't know if there will ever be an opportunity like this. Anyway, I have to go today."
Alok's mother: "What are you thinking?"
Alok :- "No no mom today we have to go somehow! Ravi's brother has school tomorrow if not bought today then how will he go to school?"
After some kind of coercion in this way. After burning a lot of wood straw, Alok gets permission from mother.
Alok's mother:- "Okay, but don't be late. I will leave before your father comes from office. If your father comes and hears that you have gone out of the house at night, he will be very angry."
Very happy to hear this and get permission from mother. But Alok thought to himself, "This time I am going out of the house, if my mother has doubts about something else after hearing this, I will understand that I am lying. Then maybe she will never believe him again. Because Alok has never lied before, even outside by lying." I didn't go." Alok feels apprehensive, so to instill faith in the mother's mind and fulfill the apprehension, Alok says,
Alok :- "Okay, I will try to come soon. We are going to the market to bring something, tell me, give me money and I will bring it when I come."
Hearing this, Alok's mother said,
Alok's mother :- "No, now you don't need anything. Now you have everything."
Alok :- "Okay then."
This time Alok and Ravi are ready to go. Ravi says,
Ravi :- "Okay, Kakima, then we will come."
Alok's mother: "Yes, it's okay, come! Be careful."
Ravi and Alok leave Alok's house, both of them proceed towards a little market road. After that he sat on the side of the road for a while, then headed towards the river road. By then everything has gathered equipment. Collected equipment because many animals live on the banks of the river so if any animal gets caught. And besides, if the ghosts are really very scary, you have to run away from them. So they took everything as tools like spears, sticks, knives and knives.
This time, both of them left for the river road, and then Bhar Sandhya could not see the upper face of each other. So they took only a candle and a candle for light. The two friends are slowly walking towards the river road while talking.
Ravi :- "You didn't tell Kakima that we are going to the old temple by the river."
Alok :- "No no!"
Ravi :- "Why?"
Alok :- "If I had told the truth, that we are going to the riverside to look for ghosts in the old temple, would mother have let us come?"
Ravi :- "No no! You did well, you didn't tell me, I didn't tell anyone either."
While talking like this, both of them reached the river bank. Come and see the half-broken old temple. Seeing how the body is making a fool of itself. The body is getting excited. Meanwhile, a dog barked "Awwwww" and the candle went out and it was dark all around. Then Ravi took out the deslai from his pocket and lit the candle again. In the meantime, both of them lost their courage. Alok notices how brave Ravi is, how his hands are shaking while lighting the deshlai. But that question kept on turning in Alok's mind, so Alok didn't follow. Both of us went in front of the temple door. The door of the temple looks like thatJust as the light had come the day before. When he opened the door and entered the temple, he saw the light and the temple was in the same condition as he had seen the day before. Alok thought to himself that no one has come to this temple this day? How is it possible that a priest came to worship every day and he did not come? Then Alok searches for that old book ie that old book. Alok went to the place where the book was the day before and where Alok had left it. A surprising thing is that the book is not there. Why isn't the book in its own place when everything is the same in the same place? Alok feels dizzy. Ravi asks Alok,
Ravi :- "Where is the book? You said that you came here the other day. There was a book. You read the book. Where is the book? There is no book here."
After that, Alok tells Ravi about all the incidents. After hearing that, Ravi said,
Ravi: "You came a long time ago, you may have forgotten, the book may not be there or you may not have kept it there, but you have put it somewhere else. Search, search, find if there is really a book."
Alok feels confused, how will Alok convince Ravi that he kept the book here. Alok is questioning and searching for himself. Then suddenly Ravi saw something bright. How shining like a pearl stone. Ravi thinks maybe this is the book that Alok was talking about so Ravi says, "I found it" saying Ravi moves forward and Alok also comes. Ravi went a little further and saw that it was the same book that Alok was talking about. Alok also comes forward and says, "Yes, this is the book I read the other day, but I kept this book there, not here." Saying this he goes to pick up the book and just then a strange thing happens. A snake This snake is not the snake of the previous day, it is a bigger body like a skeleton. Then somehow the two move the snake and retrieve the book. After rescuing the book, Ravi opened it and saw that the first page was written "A place of ghosts by the river". As the light said! The book is written about the history of this temple, written about the ghosts, all the information unknown to the ghosts is being written. While reading these pages, I suddenly fell on one line, a headline "How to invite ghosts". In which is written how to invoke ghosts. How to see ghosts And below it is written that it is better not to follow this method. The method is dangerous and deadly. Following the procedure can lead to many dangers as well as loss of life. Alok and Ravi "will see what happens before we want our answer", they start reading nonchalantly.
As soon as the first line is read "Shantrang Mantrang Bhuttva Petattsmang Cha Inviting" the door of the temple is closed, the light of the candle is extinguished, it is dark all around, no one can see anyone above. Suddenly the two saw a surprising phenomenon, as if someone was running away from them. Someone is hugging them again and loving them very much. This is an amazing event. The two can not understand what to do! Suddenly they saw someone coming towards them with a lighted candle. Who is it? Both have the same question. Both were shocked and tried to find out, but could not find out. Both of them are going towards that light and the light is coming towards them. But they are not able to reach there. The temple is a small temple, how can there be so much space in it? It is as if there is no end of the road! Alok and Ravi are moving forward. Somehow they reach that light and see, someone holding a candle and showing them the light and taking them somewhere. Both of them are trying hard to see the man's face but can't. As the man suddenly passed out while walking, Alok and Ravi went in front of the man and tried to see his face. When they look at the face, they see a different look, the face is exactly like a deer, but not exactly a deer. There are horns but on one side. And how the body is half man half cow. Two arms and four legs. There the man said to them,
Man:- "Go straight as your feet will take you, show no right on your feet."
At this Ravi and Alok started walking. Walking they came to a river. The sky of the river has a different color. There they saw a part where there was water all around and a hollow deep sand pit in the middle, they could not control their feet, their feet were taking them straight into that sand pit. When they reached there, they saw a strange thing, a strange locket and a locket written in the sand below, wear whatever you want, but that will be your last wish. This time Alok went to the locket and lifted the locket. Picking up the locket started a quarrel between the two. Whoever wears the locket will take the locket. While doing this, the two started to fight. The locket breaks. It broke into two parts and fell to the ground. And then a glow came out of the locket. Both Alok and Ravi cannot see anything in their eyes. How the light is enveloped around and someone comes and whispers in their ear try to know about us or you will lose your life prematurely. Then they lose consciousness.
Then in the morning they woke up and saw them in their own bed at home. They don't understand what happened. Alok and Ravi are both at each other's houses but they are thinking the same thing, they are also wondering what they were dreaming about. They both think what to tell someone? If they tell anyone, everyone will think they are crazy. So Alok and Ravi will tell each other about this exact thing. Well, since it was a dream, there would be no problem. Then they meet in the next morning and share with each other the same dream the same everything that Ravi saw Alok saw and what Alok saw Ravi also saw how it was possible. Then they both go to the temple by that river and just then the priest who performs puja in the temple every day is also present to perform puja in that temple. They went to the temple and searched the places where they had found the book and found nothing there, for they had taken the book with them to the middle of the river. Then they both started asking many questions to the priest. Meanwhile Alok asks,
Alok :- "priest, how was this temple established?"
In answer to the question, the priest says,
Priest :- "Once it was Shashman but still there is Shashman. Those who have burial rituals in their houses bury people here when they die. So the temple is built here thinking that ghosts do not live here. I also don't know right. I am my father Thakurdar. I heard that they used to perform puja here for ages. My father Thakurda said that everything about the history of this temple was written in a book. No one knew who wrote the book and how it came to the temple. I never found the book, I have been doing puja for so long. But I heard from the mouth of my grandmother that one day she came to the temple to perform puja and saw a book in the temple, it was protected by a snake. So the book was left here somewhere. But I searched a lot and couldn't find the book. The book disappeared after a while. Some people say that they saw the book in the evening but when they came to the same place in the morning, they couldn't find it. And I do puja in the morning. Yes, but I came once in the evening to look for the book but could not find it."
Alok and Ravi th hearing this, they don't understand what to do. Their intellect has stopped working. They return home in this condition, unable to tell anyone about it. They keep this in their mind for the rest of their lives.
